Transportation Job Description

In July of 2009, the Lions of the world will again visit the 5M Multiple for our Lions International Convention. This is a big event and we want to show the Lions of the world our wonderful Hospitality.

We need many drivers to accomplish the transportation task we have been assigned by Lions Clubs International. We will need two groups of Drivers:

Parade Drivers: The Parade will be on Thursday July 9th, 2009. We will require a minimum of 35 Drivers. We are looking for PDG’s to answer this call. Shirt, Tie and PDG “Blue Jackets” will be the uniform for Parade Drivers, including a Lions Pin and Name Tag. Parade Cars will be furnished by LCI. Further information will be given later.

International Family Pickup Drivers: Pickup and return the International Family to the airport. All Lions and Lionesses are welcome to assist in this task. The approximate time of need will be June 27th & 28th; and July 11th & 12th. The time of pickup will be whatever their flight schedule dictates, so we will need Drivers to meet the needs. The dress code will be shirt, tie and sport coat, Lions Pin and Name Tag. We may need some Drivers at other times but this will be determined when we get flight schedules. Vans and/or Limo’s will be used for this task.

All Drivers require a valid Drivers License and a copy must be furnished to our Committee.
